New Website

After spending a few months on the website design we have gone back to the drawing board over the last few weeks. Although the new site was going to be good we wanted it to be great!

So although the frame work is almost the same we have redesigned the layout a little with some added modules to make the site more engaging. It will mean that updates to the current website will be on hold as we want to get the new site live as quick as possible.

We’ve had the content completely re-worded and have a number of exciting new pictures of different styles of disco ready to be uploaded.

Ettington Park DJing Weekend

A very busy weekend for us with a total of 3 weddings, 2 of which were at Ettington Park Hotel. We played there on Saturday night for an exclusive use Wedding and then on Sunday we performed in the Long Gallery.

Our standard disco was used on both occasions and we also provided some moonlighting on the sunday night in the long gallery. A great night was had by all and we received some fantastic comments from the Bridal party and guests alike.

We had a new helper, Dave on both nights who is proving to be a real asset. I am sure he will be coming out with us on many more functions to help set up the equipment in a quick and tidy manner.

In addition to these Weddings we also provided a parquet dance floor for a marquee, and a starlit dance floor, lighting and a DJ for a 30th Birthday Party.

All in all a very successful weekend!

Warwickshire Wedding DJ

A large portion of our work comes from the venues across warwickshire and we are recommended at some of the finest Wedding venues in warwickshire. We often frequent Mallory court and DJ at there wedding receptions as well as providing other services such was our starlit dance floors and LED up lighters or mood lighting.

Ettington Park Wedding Fair

We were delighted to be back at Ettington park for there most recent Wedding open day on Sunday. We took our usual set up and one that proves very popular for couples who book us.

We took our white wedding disco booth, along with our black starlit dance floor and a black star cloth backdrop. We then added a few LED up lighters to add some personal colour touches.

We will be adding some more personally touches to the next open day so make sure you come along and say hello to us!

Whether you need your Wedding DJ to set up in the Long Gallery on the second floor or if you need us to set up your wedding disco in the Great Drawing Room we have a range of choices to make your Wedding disco both unique and to create the effect you want.

Our Wedding disco can come in a range of styles from our standard disco to our full mobile night. Our mobile night club is just that a full truss cube which goes up and around your dance floor. We can also add an elegant touch by using our pure white wedding disco at Ettington Park. We also offer a range of other services such as full indoor or outdoor uplighting which can add a great touch of colour to your Wedding at Ettington Park. We also offer a range of different styles of dance floor hire at the hotel including our very own bespoke colour changing starlit dance floor which has been designed in-house and we are the only company in the world able to offer this service.

We can also be on hand during your ceremony to take care of the music for your service, or to provide PA system for your Wedding breakfast in the long gallery at Ettington Park hotel. This allows us to provide both background music and radio microphones for speeches.

Damian is usually the Wedding DJ at Ettington Park Hotel unless your music requests require someone with a niece style of music then one of our other Specialsit Weddings DJs will be more than happy to entertain both you and your guests all night long.

All of our Wedding DJs and event staff that attend Ettington Park come suitably dressed. For setting up the equipment a branded shark polo neck T-shirt is worn so that you can identify any of our staff. After all the equipment has been set up our Wedding DJs and staff will change into something more appropriate and can be discussed with you prior to your Wedding day.

Wedding Updates

After a few days away in blackpool in was straight back to work. In the last couple of weeks we have performed a number of Wedding Disco’s in Warwickshire and provided a number of Wedding DJs in Worcestershire. Photos of these will be going on the website, Facebook page and the blog in the next few days.

We attended a wedding Fair at Ettington Park on Sunday 21st April and met a number of happily engaged couples and even met a happily married coupled who’s wedding we performed at almost a year ago. They were back at Ettington Park for their one year wedding anniversary. They had not seen any of the photos we had taken on the night so we very happy to see them on our video screens, and even more thrilled when they saw we were using one of the images from there Wedding on the front of our business cards. The photos and a video from this wedding disco is still viewable on our website here.

We have also been making a few updates to the green claws Facebook page and you are now able to login to your request site direct through Facebook and never have to leave the site so you can still chat to friends whilst making your song requests for your Wedding or Event.

Over the next few weeks we will be making a strong effort to be attending more wedding fairs and open days starting in september 2012.

Our Own Wedding

Where to start, Victoria and Myself have been engaged for just over 2 years and thought it was about time to really start planning for our Wedding. Ever since we were in our late teens we had our heart set on Ettington Park hotel for our Wedding. We past it so many times when we were younger and always thought it was the magical venue for us. At the time we had not even set foot into the hotel but it just captured everything that we wanted for our Wedding day.

Move forward 10 – 12 years and it was decision time. Since our initial thoughts on Ettington we have become the main provider for Wedding entertainment at the hotel. This has meant that in 2011 alone we attended over 75 weddings at the hotel. Plus the numerous wedding fairs and open days plus client meetings at the venue. It was with regret that we both decided to have a change of heart and look for a completely new venue one where neither of us had been before.
So for the last few months in 2011 we went around a number of different hotels and Wedding venues and nothing quite compared to feeling that we got when seeing Ettington Park for the first time.

I started to look at other options and stumbled across weddings abroad. We have performed at a number of parties for people who had got married abroad and then just had a party when they got back, but it was not something that Victoria and Myself had thought about doing.
So with a bit of researching we found the venue.

It is one of the Disney resort in Florida, Victoria always wanted to get married outside so going to a hot climate seemed to help with this idea (although nothing is guaranteed when it comes to the weather)

So we are taking 8 friends and family with us to America in June and will be getting married on June 25th 2012. We will then have a week and a half to spend so time around the attractions in Orlando with our closest friends and family.

Flying back on July 6th means we will have our hands full as our Wedding Celebration Party is on July 7th. We will of course be having our own Wedding Band Playing who will be doing a Michael Bublé number for us and our first dance.

So just under 3 months before our very own wedding day!!
